Qualification and awarding this project through tendering procedure and investigation to prepare required optical fiber communication system for Damavand Power Plant as the biggest Power Plant in Middle East, is one of our brilliant successes in our done projects as well.
At the time of project this project was very important and in top urgent classification and we could complete our scope of work very earlier than others. As soon as completion of other companies scope of work in passive parts of projects our system start to work and from that time it is in service.
Very soon this point became one of the most important communication nodes based on its place of work that is one of critical communication bottle necks in TAVANIR. Installation of Optical Guard Wires over 150 km of 400kv line with metal lathetic and none metal towers between Ardebil(Sabalan) power plant and Azerbaijan border in fully outage condition was the scope of work.

In order to increase the volume of product (2’200’000Tons/Year) in Khuzestan Steel Company, #277 and # 274 cooling towers are respectively established and revamped to fulfill the required circulating water through Electric Arc Furnaces. Load demand of the electrical equipment in the area of C.T. #277 is supplied from two 6.6 kV feeders each with the total capacity of 800A. For feeding the 400V consumers, two 3000kV power transformers, which are fed from the new C.T. #277 6.6kV switchgears, supply all low voltage electrical consumer of unit. The revamping of the C.T. #274 caused adding a new low voltage transformer and resizing of the medium voltage and low voltage main pumps. Accordingly, resizing of the motors to the greater size and making some small additional load in low voltage switchgear. This company has done the designs engineering and tendering bid evaluation in electrical, control and instrumentation fields. The major scopes are specified as following:

    Project Description:
    Mohtasham kashani 230/63/20 kV substation includes two 230kV lines, two 230/63/20 kV power transformers and  12 no 63kV Lines.
    Automation system of this substation is SICAM-PAS of Siemens and main Relays and Bay Control Units (BUCs) are supplied from Siemens as well. Automatic Voltage Regulators of Power Transformers (AVRs) are supplied from a-eberle of Germany. Industrial Ethernet switched are supplied from Hirschmann of Germany and GPS are supplied from form HOPF of Germany.
    The Automation System is fully redundant and based on IEC 61850 Standard Protocol. This substation will communicate with Scada Centers via IEC 60870-5-101, Inductic2033 protocols.
    All Design, Procurement, Factory Acceptance test (SAT), Site acceptance test (SAT), Fiber Optic Cabling, Splicing and Supervision on SAS and Protection system installation will be done by RAY Avin FAN.
